Injection Moulding
Our factories are equipped with over 155 injection moulding machines ranging from 6 tonne to 500 tonne. We have 25 years experience covering many types of materials and configurations. High or low volumes are accepted, from concept prototypes to assembled products.
Tooling and Mould Design
At Thermoplastics Ltd., we pride ourselves on our ability to take a project from concept to finished product. We work together with our network to deliver high-quality, cost-effective moulds.
Our tool room consists of a CNC machine centre, milling machines, centre lathes, a surface grinder, CNC spark erosion, and all the necessary equipment, instruments and tools. We fully test all moulds in-house to exacting standards and can provide our clients with trial reports and process data.
Product & Packaging Printing
We have printing machines with single and multi-station PAD printing capability, producing high-quality printing on plastic products and packaging.
Aerotechnik
Aerotechnik specialises in the design and manufacture of carbon fibre moulds and products. Their process involves carrying out a CNC digital cutting of carbon fibre, laminating the material onto moulds, bagging it and using an autoclave to form the product. The product is then trimmed to be fitted and inspected, ensuring a high-quality finish.
Printing
Our company has the latest technology in pad printing machines. The single and four-station rotary table machines produce high-quality printing on plastic products. We also have hot foil printing capability on any product.
Pad printing is ideal for items that are extremely irregular in nature, flat or non-flat surface, have a texture, or, are in general, a more “three dimensional” part. It is also an excellent choice for imprinting a logo, warnings or other information on a part.
Single Colour Pad Printing
For simple jobs that require a one colour imprint, we offer hermetically closed ink cup pad printing on small to medium sized parts.
Multi-Colour Pad Printing
We have several production lines that are dedicated to pad printing small to medium sized objects with prints up to 90mm (~3″ dia.). These lines provide up to four colour in-line printing.
Eco-plastics Supply Chain Sourcing
We have a team of experienced product designers who can work with clients to create and design their product ideas, optimising the products to budgetary requirements.
Our supply chain team is highly experienced in sourcing recycled plastics, and related eco-friendly raw materials to provide sustainable product solutions.
